My Design Shared Ownership allows you to choose the downstairs and upstairs layout of your home and personalise it to your own needs from a menu of our architect approved floorplans.
The purchase of a home through My Design SO is a longer process than standard Shared Ownership. This is because you are choosing the layout of your home, and we need to know your choice before we can even start to lay the foundations. This means there is a potential wait after reservation of up to eleven months until your new home will be completed.
This also means that these homes are more suitable for first time buyers and those without a chain, to reduce the risk of chains collapsing due to this delay.
You can! Personalisation doesn’t end with the layout, with our new My Design SO homes you can choose your kitchen workbenches, cupboards, tiling and flooring so your new home is even more personalised to you.
No this is not a modular home. Your sales consultant will be able to tell you about the materials and build process.
Yes! These new homes still come with Bromford’s two year warranty and a ten year NHBC warranty.
You must have chosen your layout before foundations are built on your home. Your sales consultant will guide you through this.
You can cancel your purchase as per our cancellation policy, however we may keep your deposit as per this policy.
