My Design is Shared Ownership with more choice. You can personalise your new home by choosing from a selection of ground-floor layout options and first-floor layout options.
You can also choose from a selection of finishes for your kitchen and bathrooms, including cabinet styles, worktops, tiles and flooring.
With standard Shared Ownership, layout options along with kitchen and bathroom finishes are not available. You buy the home as is. Both options offer quality, comfortable, modern living at affordable prices.
You can! Personalisation doesn’t end with the layout, with our new My Design Shared Ownership homes you can choose your kitchen workbenches, cupboards, tiling and flooring so your new home is even more personalised to you.
Yes. There is a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can change your mind.
After this period, you may still be able to amend your choices, provided construction has not progressed beyond the relevant build stage. Once that stage has passed, we will no longer be able to make changes to the layout. Your Sales consultant will guide you through the process.
No this is not a modular home. Your sales consultant will be able to tell you about the materials and build process.
Yes! These new homes still come with Bromford’s two year warranty and a ten year NHBC warranty.
You can cancel your purchase as per our cancellation policy, however we may keep your deposit as per this policy.
No, we build your home for you, you choose the layout and personalisation.
Unfortunately, the position of the stairs cannot be changed.
Unfortunately, the kitchen position cannot be changed. The available kitchen configurations are determined by the location of the electrical points and the water and gas supplies.
No. Whichever layout you choose, there is no difference in the time it will take to complete your home.
You will need to make your choices before the roof trusses are installed on your new home.
Once the roof trusses have been installed, we will no longer be able to make changes to your chosen layout.
Unfortunately, as a volume housebuilder, we are unable to install kitchens supplied by customers.
However, we offer a range of kitchen cabinet designs for you to choose from, giving you the opportunity to personalise your new home.
Upgrades are not available as part of My Design.
Once you have moved into your new home, you are free to make changes to your garden.
However, we are unable to carry out additional landscaping or garden alterations before completion.
The position of the windows cannot be changed. Window placement is predetermined and forms part of the planning permission for your home.
We are also unable to make changes to the exterior of the house, including the external finishes and materials.
