The New Homes Quality Code

NHBC

We're proud to follow the New Homes Quality Code for our full market sale homes.

The New Homes Quality Code (NHQC) (Updated early 2026) is a mandatory code of practice for registered developers in the UK designed to protect buyers and raise construction standards. It ensures fair, transparent sales, prohibits high-pressure tactics, allows for professional pre-completion inspections, and provides access to an independent New Homes Ombudsman Service

Key Features of the NHQC

Pre-contract Information: We must provide comprehensive information on your home, including tenure, management costs, and service charges.

Sales Process: We are required to provide a fair, standard reservation agreement with a 14-day cooling-off period.

Pre-completion Inspection: You, as a buyer, are entitled to have a qualified inspector check the property before completion

After-sales Service: We offer a robust, timely complaints process and effective after-care, ensuring we address snagging issues.

The NHQB code of practice changed on the 2nd March 2026, and the one that applies to you depends on whether you reserved before or after 2nd March 2026. You can find out more about the code here and select which version applies to you: The Code - The New Homes Quality Board (NHQB)
