How long does the mortgage process take?

If you’ve followed our recommendations on how to get Mortgage Fit and have your documents ready to hand when you initially speak to us, then the mortgage and home buying process can be complete in around a month.

Once speaking to us, and you have provided us with the documents we’ve requested we can get a Mortgage in Principle for you, which is a way for lenders to say that they will consider lending you a specific amount, and can usually be obtained within 24 hours. Once you have this, you can officially start looking for your Bromford Shared Ownership home.
