Hurry! 1st-time buyer sales surge at Warwick

EAGER first-time buyers are snapping up our affordable new homes at Beaumont Meadow − just outside the centre of historic Warwick.

Four of the half dozen two-bed houses are now reserved by local people who can't afford this property hotspot's open-market prices − but can afford to pay as little as £101,250* for a typical 45% share through our popular part-buy, part-rent scheme.

This new year shared ownership sales surge leaves just two more top-quality Sherbourne home up for grabs − and buyer demand is so strong that these are sure to be snapped up too, says Bromford Homes Head of Sales Alan Bradley.

His advice to other would-be homebuyers? "Be quick or you could miss out on these last few low-cost opportunities to make your home ownership dream come true," says Alan.

First-time buyer guide 640 x 340

"If you live or work in Warwick, you get first priority. So, if you've saved enough for a minimum deposit of just over £5,000, give us a call and find out how you can get on the property ladder at a price you can truly afford.

"Warwick is a very desirable place to live and this is reflected in the asking prices for all kinds of local houses and apartments. As a result, most first-time buyers on ordinary incomes are quite simply priced out.

"With shared ownership, you buy a percentage of the full market price instead of buying outright. That means a lower deposit − in this case, a minimum of just £5,063* − and lower monthly mortgage payments, with low monthly rent payable on the share you don't buy.

"These houses (pictured below) are built to the same high quality as the open-market homes that Taylor Wimpey is building alongside them, and they come with all the mod cons, other features and contemporary room layouts that people want these days.

The Sherbourne

"The big difference is the cost − and that's the reason why two-thirds of these great homes have been reserved in a matter of weeks since we confirmed the prices. Shared ownership at Beaumont Meadow really does offer young working people a truly affordable alternative to private renting or living with your parents."

The Sherbourne homes off Academy Drive each feature a contemporary kitchen with stainless steel oven, hob and extractor, two double bedrooms and downstairs cloakroom as well as bathroom. Off-road parking also comes as standard.

* £101,250 buys a 45% share of a two-bed house with a full market value of £225,000. A minimum deposit of £5,063 assumes a 95% mortgage on that share, with low rent payable on the share you don't buy.
