Oaklands demo home welcome this weekend

IT'S all go at our popular Oaklands shared ownership development in Rugby! We're rolling out the welcome mat for first-time buyers with the launch of our super three-bed demo home this Saturday and Sunday (June 14-15) from 10am to 4.30pm each day.

It's a friendly, informal chance to look around the house and find out how one just like it could be yours for as little as £78,750 with our part-buy, part-rent deal. That's enough to buy a typical 45% share of a three-bed Goldcrest − and your minimum deposit could be just £3,938*.

Bromford Homes Head of Sales Alan Bradley predicts a busy time ahead now that our builders have just completed all 14 shared ownership homes that make up the second phase and the demo home will now be open five days a week − from Thursday to Monday, 10am-4.30pm.

Our first buyers could be moving into their new Oaklands homes by the end of August − and a further flurry of reservations is expected as soon as homehunters walk around the demo home this weekend and get a real feel for the layout, great build quality and long list of features that come as standard.

"Four plots have already been snapped up and buyer interest is so strong that more reservations are sure to follow. So my advice to other homehunters who can't afford to buy on the open market is to join us this weekend, see one of these great shared ownership homes for yourselves and find out how little it can cost you," says Alan.

"We've got the right homes in the right place and − most importantly for the majority of first-time buyers − at the right price. With shared ownership, your minimum deposit can be less than £4,000* for a typical share and your monthly cost will be less than it would cost you to rent a similar home from a private landlord.

"That's why the first phase of Oaklands homes was snapped up so quickly last year. Now we've offering first-time buyers in and around Rugby a second opportunity to make their homebuyer dream come true."

Anna keys 960x400

One of last year's successful first-time buyers, 28-year-old mum Anna Malarska (pictured above) heartily agrees − and happily recommends our homes and our part-buy, part-rent deal to others.

"Shared ownership is the perfect solution for first-time buyers like me who can't afford a big deposit or a big mortgage but want to get on the property ladder and invest in their future," says Anna, who moved in with son William last July. "We love our home and we love the area... and it's cheaper for me than the house I was renting before."

We've now got nine three-beds, including the demo home, left up for grabs at Oaklands. The only two-bed has just been reserved.

You can get driving instructions for finding the Oaklands demo home here and find out more by calling us on 0845 60 10 878. You an also register for updates or keep in touch by following us on Twitter and Facebook.

* £78,750 buys 45% of a three-bed with a full market value of £175,000. Your minimum deposit would be £3,938, assuming a 95% mortgage on the share you buy.
