Aylesbury open house for first-time buyers

WE'RE rolling out the welcome mat with a special open house for first-time buyer families who want a low-deposit, low-cost home in Aylesbury.

Join us at our three-bed Foxlow Grange demo home on Saturday morning (June 7) and we'll show you round and explain how shared ownership can make your property dream come true at a low price you really can afford.

The secret? It's our popular part-buy, part-rent formula, which means you could be moving into a brand new three-bed house off Berryfields Lane for as little as £94,000 and a minimum deposit of just £4,700*.

That's enough to buy a typical 40% share of a three-bed Bishopstone and, with the first few now finished, you could be moving in by the end of July.

We've got nine of these great family houses (pictured below) available and four two-beds are being built later in the year. With low deposits and low monthly costs, it all adds up to a truly affordable deal for would-be homebuyers on lower incomes − and a low-cost alternative to private renting.

The Bishopstone

Bromford Homes Head of Sales Alan Bradley urges would-be homebuyers to come along on Saturday between 10am and noon. It's an ideal opportunity, he says, to check out the great build-quality, family-friendly layout and range of features including spacious lounge-diner, downstairs cloakroom and family bathroom and stylish kitchen with fitted hob, oven and extractor.

"Shared ownership's low deposits and low monthly costs − lower, on average, than it costs to rent from a private landlord − really do make the difference for anyone who wants a home they can call their own but can't afford to buy on the open market," says Alan.

"Our buyers tell us time and time again that they would have been unable to get onto the property ladder any other way - especially in a sought-after place Aylesbury where property prices are high and average earnings relatively low.

"If that sounds like you − and you want to find out how you too can make your homebuyer dream come true − then come and join us this weekend."

To find out more about Saturday's open house and how to buy at Foxlow Grange call our Aylesbury agents Brown & Merry on 01296 456016. You can also call 0845 60 10 878, register for updates and keep in touch by following us on Twitter and Facebook.

* £94,000 buys a typical 40% share of a three-bed Bishopstone with a full market value of £235,000 and a minimum deposit of just £4,700 assumes a 95% mortgage on the share you buy. Two-bed prices are yet to be confirmed.
