Last chance for first-time buyers at Alders

WOLVERHAMPTON'S first-time buyers have one last chance to snap up a top-scoring shared ownership home at The Alders.

They can get on the property ladder at this popular Gatis Street development for as little as £30,938* if they buy a minimum 25% share of the remaining three-bed home − and the deposit could be as low as £1,547.

Free carpets come as part of the deal − and, according to Bromford Homes Head of Sales North Alan Bradley, there's no better way to get on the property ladder in the heart of Wolverhampton.

He urges local first-time buyers to be quick or risk missing out on an opportunity that's earned a 10/10 score from one of the first part buy-part rent customers to move in.

Top scores for shared ownership − and for Bromford Homes customer service − are handed out by first-time buyer Tanika Palmer.

"Owning my own home is a dream come true − and shared ownership made it possible at a price I can afford," says Tanika, who is happily settling in at The Alders with her partner. "I would definitely recommend it if, like me... your income is fairly low and the prospect of having to save a huge deposit makes your dream seem really out of reach."

Alan's message to other first-time buyers? "Tanika's positive comments say it all − and my advice to other aspiring homeowners in Wolverhampton is to be quick or risk missing out on this great opportunity to get on the property ladder.

"With shared ownership, you buy between 25% and 75% of a great new home and pay low rent on the remaining share. It's as simple as that. This makes the initial outlay much lower and we know − thanks to recent research − that the typical monthly costs are also cheaper than buying on the open market or renting from a private landlord.

"You really can't do better if you're a first-time buyer who wants to get on the property ladder here in the heart of Wolverhampton."

*£30,938 would buy a minimum 25% share of a thee-bed house with a full market value of £123,750. A deposit of £1,547 assumes a 95% mortgage on that minimum share.
