Oaklands - it’s got the lot for first-time buyers

FIRST-TIME buyers in Rugby are encouraged to stake a claim if they want to make their homeowning dream come true at one of our newest developments.

"It's early days yet but we've got every reason to believe that first-time buyers will love what we've got to offer them here at Oaklands," says Alan.

"This is a good time to buy − especially if you feel like you're stuck living in private rented housing, want to get on the property ladder but have either been putting off the decision or think that you won't qualify for shared ownership.

"Of course, no one would pretend that the current market is easy for first-time buyers. Credit remains tight and lenders still require large deposits. That's where shared ownership makes a real difference."

How HomeBuy makes the difference

Instead of buying outright, you purchase between 25% and 75% and pay rent on the remaining share. The amount you buy depends on what your affordability − a typical share being around 40 or 45% − and, of course, you can increase the share you own as time goes by.
