Curtain up for Penny Meadow buyer
IT specialist and part-time panto performer Lucy Taylor is
really looking forward to moving into her new Bromford home − oh
yes she is!
She and husband Paul reserved a four-bed house at our
high-profile Penny Meadow development before Christmas
− and then quickly sold their existing home in Stourbridge with the
help of our HelpUmove incentive.
The carpets won't be going down at Penny Meadow for a little while
yet but the curtain has already gone up for Lucy, who plays Jack's
girlfriend Jill in the Monday Night Group production of Jack
and the Beanstalk at Stourport.
"Incredibly busy.. and very exciting!" That's how Lucy summed it
up during a break between work, selling one home and buying
another, and rehearsals for the panto that ends this Saturday
(February 2). There are still a few unsold seats, she says, so
call the ticket line on 01299 825170 if you want to catch the show
or visit www.mondaynightgroup.org
"We're told that the house build is still in schedule − even
with all this snow − and a couple of weeks ago we chose our kitchen
design and bathroom tiles which allowed us to start putting our
personal stamp on our new home," says Lucy.
HelpUmove 'a good move'
"Signing up for HelpUmove when we put down our deposit was
definitely a good move. We liked the idea of being able to reserve
the home of our choice before we'd sold our existing home.
"It's working out just like we were promised − Bromford makes
sure that our existing house is sold and we have the peace of mind
that comes from knowing that Bromford is on hand right up to the
time that we move.
"It's just a matter of time now. We are really looking forward
to moving into the our new Bromford home."
Two more homehunters have reserved houses at Penny Meadow, off
Bewdley Hill, where our in-house construction team led by
award-winning site manager Pete Hamon
is building 13 new homes alongside one existing house.
The Penny Meadow marketing suite and showhome is due to open on
March 16 and Sales Consultant Carol Bradshaw has a healthy waiting
list of customers who want to be shown around.
Carol has also organised a special appointment-only preview of
the site for homebuyers who've registered their interest. These
special viewings start on Monday February 18 and homebuyers who
want to find out more can talk to Carol on 01952
"We've arranged these special visits because we've had some
really strong interest from customers who are keen to get a preview
of the development," she says.
"These high-quality homes at Penny Meadow are appealing to
people who appreciate quality and the leafy, family-friendly feel
of this area around the crest of Bewdley Hill. If that sounds like
you, then please register your interest or give me a call and let
me tell you more."
