Early birds flock to Larks Rise
EARLY BIRD buyers are grabbing the chance to get on the property
ladder at our newly-launched Larks Rise development.
Twenty-five eager homehunters have already applied for Bromford
shared ownership houses at the
high-profile New Century Park in Coventry, where you can buy a
two-bed home for as little as £30,875*.
The surge of early interest prompts a call from Bromford Homes
Head of Sales (North) Alan Bradley. He encourages other first-time
buyers to be quick or risk missing out if they want their pick of
the plots off Brindle Avenue.
"This is a rare opportunity for local first-time buyers to get
on the property ladder at a price they can afford here in the heart
of Coventry," says Alan.
"We've got 43 two and three-bedroom homes that are being built
here as part of the high-profile redevelopment of New Century
"The level of interest is unusually strong, with many serious
enquiries even before the first home is finished or our sales
centre is open.
"This reflects the fact that we've got a great location and
that, with Homebuy shared ownership, first-time
buyers can realise their dream of home ownership here for a
fraction of what it costs to buy a similar home outright."
He urges local homehunters to register their interest and find

Sales centre to open in April
The Larks Rise sales centre is set to open in April and the
first shared ownership homes − being built by our development
partners Barratt West Midlands and David Wilson Mercia − are
scheduled for completion from the end of March.
Full prices for the first release start at £123,500 for a
two-bedroom house and £147,500 for a three-bed house.
"Affordability is a key issue for so many first-time buyers and,
with many lenders requiring fairly large deposits, shared ownership
really is a great way for people to get into the home-buying
market," says Alan.
"With shared ownership, you buy between 25% and 75% of your home
and pay rent on the remaining share. It's as simple as that.
"It means you can get on the housing ladder at Larks Rise for as
little as £30,875*, with deposits starting
from £1,544 for a two-bed house, or £36,875** for a three-bed
house, with a deposit of as low as £1,850.
"We do everything we can to make sure that the deal is truly
affordable − whether you are buying the minimum amount or anything
up to the 75 per cent maximum."
