Hassle-free move in five weeks as couple part-exchange on Priorsleap dream home
MOVING house was a quick and worry-free experience for Bromford
homebuyers Helen and Chris Preston.
Just five weeks after they fell in love with a new four-bed
house at Priorsleap, Telford,
they were collecting the keys from Bromford Sales Consultant Carol
Bradshaw and moving in with their much-loved cats, Buffy, Bella,
Angel, Sparkle and Theakston.
"We can't believe it all happened so fast," says Helen, a
recruitment consultant. And she's full of praise for Bromford's part-exchange
incentive scheme, which played a key part in the speedy and
hassle-free home buying process.
"We had a two-bed house to sell and with the market being like
it is we thought selling might be a problem. But we didn't have to
worry because the part-exchange deal made all the difference,"
explains Helen. "Bromford have been absolutely brilliant every step
of the way."
Husband Chris, a civil servant, nods in agreement. "Once we'd
agreed a price on our old home, everything else fell into place and
we've ended up here, in the home of our dreams, in just five weeks
from start to finish," he says.
"Bromford's customer service has been first-rate. Nothing is too
much trouble and if we have had a query or a minor problem with
anything, then Carol or the award-winning Site Manager, Pete
Hamon, have always been there to help. We would recommend
Bromford Homes to anyone thinking of buying a new home."
Great customer service
Apart from the great customer service, what makes
Bromford Homes the best?
"The quality of the finish and the fact that you get so much
included in the price − things that would come as extras
elsewhere," answers Chris.
It's quite a list − all the homes have integrated appliances,
heated towel rails and fitted wardrobes as standard. Chris also
points to the low-energy photocell sensor lights, intruder alarm,
fenced and turfed rear gardens with power outlet and an outside
Helen agrees that Bromford homes offer unbeatable value for
"The quality is outstanding. Just look at the door handles, for
instance, they're so stylish! It's attention to details like like
that really make a difference," says Helen, a fan of cult fantasy
TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Twilight
Saga, which together inspired the names for three of her
"The other thing I really like here is the feeling of space. I
couldn't believe it at first when we realised we could afford a
lovely four-bed detached house like this. It's a big jump from a
fairly cosy two-bed house but the price was right, we had built up
quite a lot of equity and, of course, the part-exchange deal really
Her strong sense of style is already evident around the home
with, for instance, a contemporary red and black colour scheme in
the kitchen-diner. But she's only just made a start and won't be
happy until she's been able to add a splash or two of her favourite
"We're still getting used to it all but this is home now for us
and our cats and we're not going anywhere soon because we love it
so much," says Helen. "All it needs is a few personal touches like
my pictures on the walls and maybe a pink feature wall or two. Then
it will really feel like home."
