First HelpUmove reservation for Penny Meadow

SATURDAY'S launch of our high-profile Penny Meadow development in Kidderminster was a resounding success.

Sales and Marketing Director Bev Hall and Sales Consultant Carol Bradshaw were busy greeting potential buyers from the moment they arrived at the town centre offices of leading local estate agents Allan, Morris & Jones. Within half an hour of the official 11am start time, Carol had signed up Penny Meadow's first HelpUmove reservation.

First to stake a claim on one of the off-plan Penny Meadow homes were Lucy and Paul Taylor, who both work in the IT sector. They want to trade up from their current three-bedroom home in Stourbridge and move into one of our fabulous four-bed detached homes off Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster.

With the ink barely dry on the cheque, Paul said: "We were keen to come in today (Saturday) and beat other potential buyers to get the home that we want. We have a home in Stourbridge that we need to sell and think that Bromford Homes HelpUmove sounds like a great offer.

"It means we can reserve the home of our choice before we've sold our existing home and speeds up our selling process. What Bromford Homes are offering to do − help us achieve a sale within eight weeks − will save us so much hassle."

Award-winning site manager

Their chosen four-bed home is scheduled for completion in the spring and the couple are keen to meet Penny Meadow site manager Pete Hamon, who's just won a regional NHBC Pride in the Job award for his last Bromford Homes project − Priorsleap in Telford.

"We went to Priorsleap to meet Carol and to talk about Penny Meadow in more detail after one of our relatives saw the signage at Bewdley Hill," said Paul.

"We were really impressed by the build quality and the finish of the houses at Priorsleap and know that, having completed the job at Telford, Pete is responsible for building the homes here in Kidderminster. We're sure he'll do another brilliant job."

Bromford Homes 'one of the best'

Lucy nodded in agreement and said: "We've done a lot of research and, in our view, there's a lot of difference between different builders − and Bromford Homes is definitely one of the best.

"What made us decide to buy? Well, apart from the overall quality and finish, the location is excellent, the designs are lovely and we're really impressed by the range of fixtures and fittings that come as standard − things that other builders would charge as extras. That and HelpUmove make it a great deal for us."

Next step is to get the couple's home on the market as part of the HelpUmove deal and then to meet award-winning site manager Pete, who will oversee the entire build.

Shortly before Saturday's open day drew to a close at 3pm, Sales and Marketing Director Bev said: "It's been an absolutely fantastic day, a really great way to launch Penny Meadow. We've had one reservation and seen another three customers who've expressed an interest in HelpUmove.

"Overall, the feedback from the people we've seen has been very positive indeed. They love the look of the development and the fact that it's in one of the most sought-after parts of Kidderminster − and they tell us that the prices are right, starting from £234,950 for our four-bed homes.

"We're really pleased with this initial reaction and look forward to talking to lots more customers between now and the new year."
