Just two homes left at Hardintone Court

BUYERS have already snapped up half the shared ownership homes at our new Bromford Homes development In Erdington.

That leaves just two homes up for grabs at prices that start from £31,250* − and Head of Sales (North) Alan Bradley urges other would-be buyers to be quick or risk missing out.

He describes Hardintone Court as a popular development that ticks all the boxes for first-time buyers who want a home within easy reach of the M6 and Birmingham city centre.

"Hardintone Court has it all − great homes at great prices in a great location," Alan tells first-time buyers, who can purchase between 25% and 75% and pay rent on the remaining share through Bromford's HomeBuy scheme.

"This is a truly affordable opportunity for first-time buyers to get on the property ladder here in the heart of Erdington, where you have local shops and facilities − and Birmingham city centre is only a short journey away.

"That makes Hardintone Court ideal for, say, a couple or family where one or more people work in the centre of Birmingham and are looking for an easy commuter journey. You can take your pick − Erdington has its own rail station, there's a bus route and a main road that takes you to junction six of the M6 and on to the Aston Expressway."

Making home ownership affordable

Buyers have reserved one two-bed house and one three-bed home at the development off Goosemoor Lane, leaving another two-bed home for as little as £31,250 and another three-bed house for as little as £34,375** through Bromford's HomeBuy shared ownership scheme.

"These prices make home ownership truly affordable. In the case of our remaining two-bed home, your deposit could be little more than £1,560*," says Alan.

"With house prices strong and mortgage lending much tighter than it used to be, renting can seem like the only option for many first-time buyers and affording a home of your own seem like an impossible dream.

"The good news is the dream can come true thanks to shared ownership. It's a great way for people to get into the home-buying market and need not cost more each month than renting from a private landlord."

* This example is based on a property price of £125,000. A 25 per cent share would cost £31,250 and a five per cent deposit on that would be £1,562.
** This example is based on a property price of £137,500. A 25 per cent share would cost £34,375 and a five per cent deposit on that would be £1,719.
